Upload only what you may process
CastTranscript is for recordings you created, licensed, received permission to use, or may otherwise lawfully transcribe. The service is not a tool for bypassing platform access controls.
YouTube captions
The YouTube importer accepts existing public captions or subtitle text supplied by the user. If captions are unavailable, the import stops. CastTranscript does not silently download the video audio.
Requests from rights holders
A rights holder may submit a removal request identifying the work, the affected account material and a reliable way to contact them. Private transcript text is not published for search traffic.
