Can I paste a YouTube URL and get an audio transcript?
No. The upload page accepts an authorized media file. If captions already exist, use the separate importer to paste SRT, VTT or caption text.
What formats can I upload?
MP4, MOV, WebM and MKV files with an audio track are supported by the video workflow, subject to the configured file-size and duration limits.
Can I export an uploaded video as SRT?
Yes when verified sentence timing is available. The project can also export TXT and Markdown.
Does CastTranscript download YouTube videos?
No. CastTranscript does not provide a YouTube downloader or bypass caption access. Use media you are authorized to process.
