PODCAST TRANSCRIPTION

Turn the episode into a transcript you can publish

Upload a finished podcast recording and leave with an editable transcript, speaker labels, chapters and show notes for the episode page.

A podcast publishing workflow

One recording, several useful deliverables.

InputPodcast audio or video you are authorized to process
Working viewTimed transcript, speaker labels and playback
OutputTranscript, chapters, show notes, TXT, Markdown, SRT and VTT

The transcript becomes the source of truth. Notes and chapters are separate, retryable outputs so a summary failure never makes you upload or pay for the episode again.

EPISODE NOTES

A practical conversation about editing spoken stories without sanding away the moments that make them human.

  2. When to keep a pause
  3. Preparing the subtitle handoff

Designed for repeat publishing

Keep every episode in the same working document.

Questions, answered

Podcast transcription questions

What does podcast transcription include?

The workflow starts with an editable transcript. When the model returns them, speaker labels and timing remain attached. Chapters and show notes are generated as separate outputs.

Can I transcribe a long podcast episode?

Long recordings use a queued private workflow. The uploader checks the configured file-size and duration limits before processing begins.

Can I export show notes for a podcast host?

Yes. Review the generated summary and chapters, then copy or export Markdown alongside the transcript and subtitle files.

Does CastTranscript download podcast URLs?

No. Upload an audio or video file you own or have permission to process. CastTranscript does not act as a podcast or social-media downloader.

Private by default

Make the next episode useful before it gets buried.

Start with a private transcript, then shape the chapters and show notes your audience needs.
